AC Rescue.biz is looking to hire an HVAC technician to install, maintain, and repair air conditioning, heating, ventilation, and refrigeration (HVAC) systems. If you're interested in joining our team of HVAC technicians, start by applying here and attaching your resume.

Key Requirements

Technical Skills:

• Understanding of HVAC systems, including components like compressors, coils, thermostats, and refrigerant lines. 
• Ability to diagnose system malfunctions and troubleshoot issues 
• Knowledge of electrical wiring and basic electrical troubleshooting 
• Skill in using diagnostic tools and equipment 
• Ability to properly handle refrigerants and comply with safety regulations

Installation and Repair Skills:

• Installing new air conditioning units and components 
• Replacing faulty parts like compressors, coils, and motors 
• Performing routine maintenance tasks like cleaning condenser coils, checking refrigerant levels, and filter replacements 
• Performing emergency repairs efficiently

Customer Service Skills:

• Excellent communication skills to explain technical issues to customers in a clear manner 
• Ability to interact professionally with clients and build rapport 
• Responding promptly to customer calls and concerns

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to work in confined spaces, at heights, and in various weather conditions 
• Physical strength to lift and maneuver heavy equipment 
• Manual dexterity for working with small components and tools

Licensing and Certification:

• A valid HVAC technician license or certification
• An EPA card 
• A valid driver’s license, in good standing 
• May need to complete ongoing training to stay updated on new technologies and safety standards

Professional Skills: 

• Keep records of work performed 
• Strong communication skills 
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent time management skills 

Experience: 

• 3 years of field experience 
• Must have tools of the trade
